Antennas and propagation For a long time an area of expertise at the LRTS, research on antennas is reborn thanks to some work on micro-strip elements for polarimetric antenna array (study of coupling, of the efficiency and the optimisation of the parameters), on wideband intelligent antennas in millimetric waves and on Rotman lenses. The LRTS has specialised equipment for the mesearument of antenna characteristics: 3m X 3m anechoidal chamber with an automatised system to obtain the radiation pattern, a cage of Faraday, network analysers of up to 10 Ghz, spectral analysers, RF power meters, etc.
